What a stunning photo. If not for your note, one would never know everything that was going on around this shot. I think I would have cropped a little higher. two things stand out, the boater and the little bobber in the forground. in any case, nice shot. It must have been beautiful that day. Lucky you!!!

Nice pic En. I think the yellow flower is better than any frame that could ever be created and the shot of the beetle itself is a very good macro shot. Well done!

Excellent shot Dan! True to life colors and feel. So what brought you out to the middle of nowhere? It's an excellent drive with so much to see and do out there. I travelled this road myself a time or two when I was stationed at 29 "stumps". This photo brings back some great memories. Another nice drive is from 29 Palms over the mountain to Palm Springs through Joshua Tree National Forest. Thanks for sharing!

Great shot Adrianne! Good colors and composition. And good story. I too have handed over the glasses several times and have experienced the same reaction, although not from the girls' tent. LOL

Your picture and story reveals so much, things that someone can only comprehend if they had actually been standing in your shoes. Her head clothes, the side of the tent, the dirt floor, the things laying outside the opening of the tent, drinking chai that was offered to you. You've bery lucky to have experienced this...

This is a great shot and brings back memories of the awe I had exerytime I stood in these wonderful hotels in Singapore.

Wonderful colors and a lesson for me in perspective distortion. Thanks.

LOL. Thanks for the pic. Is that a hotel? Before I go to the manager here, maybe I should also have examples of working air conditioner, elevators, room service, power system and a cashier that has money. haha
