Brilliant colors and I really like the layers in the photo -- Iran comes across as a very pretty country! Only suggestion would be to cut out the top 100-150 pixels of sky, since it doesn't seem to add a whole lot and makes the photo seem inordinately bottom heavy (IMHO). Regardless -- really nice shot, tfs!

Great find and I love the idea in this photo. I think maybe similar to the other commenter that the twigs and stuff behind the rooster add sub-optimal noise (although they'd be a royal pain to try and airbrush out of the photo). I think I'd also probably crop it down to remove the sky and just focus on the absurdity of the silhouetted rooster. But beautiful grab -- makes me wish I'd have thought of it when I was on Kauai last month!

The glow of the lights through the fog is beautiful and adds warmth to an otherwise cold scene. I also like the composition quite a bit with the parallel lines of the highway and the side street, both with the black of the asphalt and the glowing yellow headlight streaks. TFS.

This is a very appealing photo -- the way the colors flow through the grass is particularly nice and the cairn in the foreground offers a great focal starting point. I wonder whether it might work even better with a little less sky and a wider aspect ratio, but either way this is arresting shot.

Beautiful colors and great choice of angle. I'm always attracted to road shots, but this one's exceptionally beautiful. TFS.

What a gorgeous find! This looks like one of those places that you might not notice when you're standing there, but that looks unbelievable when you're sifting through photos. The red here is brilliant and I love the level of detail in the photo -- it makes you want to explore the entire frame.

Beautiful shot. I think you got the composition exactly right with the horizon below center -- the sky here really deserves the space it gets. I love lonely road photos like this one and obviously the contrasting colors are really well done.

Hey, at least the scaffolding was gone by the time you got there! The building was under wraps the whole time I lived in NYC (which, granted, was only eight months). :) I like the almost Abby Road feel of the people in the crosswalk.

Peter,
Amazed at how sharp this photo looks as well as how the coposition draws my eyes down the terraces, then back left to follow the building, then back into the garden to try and resolve the paths and patterns there. Makes it a really pretty and fun picture to look at.
Thanks,
bkd
