Hi Naomi-

What's cool about this photo is that there is no real sense of scale- is he huge, just large, or "normal" size? The exaggeration of the sculpting (especially the fingers) makes for a slightly surreal photo with great effect.

Wow, the framing of the tree with the clouds makes what would have been a very mundane photo into something so much more. Very dramatic. Beautiful blues as well.

A really great shot- and I think what makes is so special is the angle of the shot. Highlight/shadow contrast is also perfect. This is a very personal photograph. Great stuff!

It looks like you might be a bit limited by your camera, but this is a fine shot all the same- it's not about the equipment, it's all about what you do with it. The contrast of the orange and green is great. Keep up the good work!
