normally I am not a fun of this technique, I find that such images usually lack depth and contrasts, but for some reason I really like this one, probably because the abundance of details, colours and textures make up for visual lack of depth. fascinating shot, my compliments.

hello Filipe,
I like the photo a lot, the strong contrasts add good depth to the scene. I particularly like how you have composed the photo, the wall serves as a good border between the part with the chapel and the other, somewhat more mundane part. nice one :)

I think this is great, and I certainly prefer the original version, the workshop is way too tight for my taste, and looses the beautiful sense of world evporating in the fog and rising up. the composition with the pier as a lead-in line works very well, and the colour of the boat stands out nicely. great shot, my compliments. and welcome to TE :)

hello Rikk,
I quite like this graphic photo, the contrast between strict shapes of the pavement and natural uneven lines of the leaf is quite striking. interesting how such a simple photo can convey such a strong mood.

hi Christian,
I think I liked the horizontal version of tighter crop, I felt it created a better focus on the person. I realise that in this version the yellow taxi in the background illustrates better where the person is and may be adds more sense to the "New York state of mind" title. great shot in any case :)

hi Carlos,
the fiery orange colour seems to flow right out of the screen, I like a lot the sense of "golden moment". the scene is simple, but I find that this simplicity enhances the individual elements of the photo - the colours, the silhouette of the lonely fisherman, the setting sun and its reflections. great moody shot, my compliments.

hello Eric,
I really really REALLY like this photo, I think this is one of the most original images involvin spiral staircases that I have seen. the boy reading near the window enhances the feeling that this is some fairy tale castle :) great shot, goes to my favourites.

hello Donato,
the simplicity of the landscape in combination with golden tones and texture of the water are the things that attract me to this photo, I enjoy the calm and tranquil mood the image creates. there seems to be a slight halo around the edges of the mountains, but that might be the fault of the monitor I'm using right not. moody shot in any case, I like it a lot.

hello Goncalo,
there are thousands of photos here on TE with these yellow trams of Lisbon, but I think this is one of the best, the wide angle hass added a sense of motion and depth, and for some reason even the electricity wires look good. the yellow wall and blue sky also helps, good timing to capture this.

hello Didier,
I like a lot this graphic shot, reminds me of the double helix of the DNA structure :) whithin that interpretation the people are just the right accent in the scene, very well seen and presented.
best,
Kristine
