Hi, JY.
I'm a little late, but as they say "better late than never" !
As you can probably notice, I gave up on mine 174th photo, since than I really am very rarely on TE, which is a shame, I agree. But enough about me, you deserve all the credit here. I'm so glad you used a panoramic effect for this scene, a pano photo is suitable for this king of scene. Unlike most of the amateur panos we see quite a lot here on TE, this one has a rich foreground, the old wall is very well though in order to lead us towards the central part of the photo whisch is the old town itself. And I wonder what did you offer to the weather gods for such a perfect cloudscape? I know, you offered a perfect photo with rich colours, one which everyone should be wanting to hand on his wall.
Oh wait! I forgot to scroll to the right and see the leaning tree and the relayxed summer atmosphere below it. Not counting the perfect placement of the tree as a natural frame, I see an even more compelling thing: it fits so well in the surroundings!
happy 1000th once again and see you somewhere, sometimes...

Hi Kari.
Congrats for your 400!
It's an artwork in my opinion, perhaps you could share us an info about the artist who made this. Unfortunately I have drank only 2% of all beers presented (not all at once!) so I have some catching up to do.
take care, Aleks

Hi Kev.
I decided to open this blurred image instead of the others from this place. It shows your artistry to the extreme. Some would say it is a miss shot, but I know you done it in purpose. Your note explains it well what you meant to do and what you made. But it's not the blur that makes me go for a shy smile. It's the way the image discovers your personal feeling much more than presenting us the place you imaged. What bothers me is that the shot could have been taken anywhere and there's no reason that I should beleive it is in Betlehem. And reading your note I didn't notice a universal message, only a message connected to this place. And the photo just doesn't follow your note. I'm sorry Kev but if you didnt mention the place but only your feelings in the note, it would have worked more for me.
I wish you a nice holidays with your love ones!

Hi Paolo.
This is a classic powerful saturated Paolo shot. The only thing missing are some clouds.:))
I get the chills by watching the cold blue in this photo. The addition of the Moon makes the photo even colder.
take care, Aleks

Hi Sarolta.
Sorry I missed this photo on TE so far.
I would very much to see this scene in some movie, but I doubt that any director can create such a scene, even with the best equipment. This is pure magic, the way you waited for her to be on the right place, the way she is creating a triangle with herself, the shadow and the blocking of the ligh in the fog. Without her, the photo would have been a masterpiece, with her, the photo is pure magic!
take care, Aleks
