It's interesting. The handshake in the image, to me, gives a totally different feeling. Kind of like the blair witch project where nothing is quite right and things are always shifting and not understandable. It kind of makes my skin crawl! I realize that this isn't what you intended as the purpose of the shot but I find it a very interesting image regardless.

I love this frame.

I remember going to Saigon and many drivers there are so friendly but so RIGHTTHEREINYOURFACE just like this image. The details in the face is wonderful too, the little imperfections and all.

I get the feeling that this person is really quite a character... Amusingly, I feel like you brought a fairly wide angle right up to his nose, same treatment that is often given to a donkey ;)... which given the persistance of some drivers, occasionally seems appropriate.

Gorgeous. Such an interesting door with a very rich set of textures. Oddly though, I get this feeling that I"m not looking at the door directly face on, but slightly from the side?

I like this. I'm not sure why though.

The only nitpick I could mention would be the sign is a bit distracting to the mood I'm feeling (which is kind of like "resignation", but I can't quite verbalize it)

Very nicely done. Love how it turned out, the soft tones in the sky contrasted against the sharpness of the cliffside really do it for me. :D

Wonderful. Love the punctuation provided by the birds on the lines. The thumbnail doesn't nearly do it justice, never shows the warm light on their chests or the preening that many seem to be doing :)

Beautiful. While the tones seem a little dark on my LCD, in print form I can imagine it being just stunning. Such a peaceful and calming scene while having its elements of mystery from the submerged fence and anonymous person in the boat.

Looks good! The only thing I can wish for is a little more detail in the needles. Since this shot speaks to me about the texture of the cacti I'd like to be able to see the image as sharp as possible (no pun intended ;) I don't think the lack of detail is your fault as much as the quality of the jpeg.

Also, try using the channel mixer to go to black and white while simulating a red filter the results seem quite nice (More information here: http://luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/b-w_better.shtml)
