A nicely composed, depicting the peculiar lake that looks so alien with interesting geological features, indeed a very strange place and eerie to me. This is a very effective shot particularly, the vantage point, low moody light which extremely suit the subject and the grey clouds have further added the drama and impact. The brief explanation is great, not only can we appreciate photographic art, but learn about our world as well, thank you. Congrats

Enormous clouds that deserved attention! Stunning is the only word to describe the dominating wonderful clouds with the 'island' gives a sense of size and stark contrast of the open wide view. There's a bit of distant interest well included which also helps viewer to wonder about the shot, it's well coloured with excellent clarity. I think this really has the ahhh factor beautifully done, Congrats

Something fresh from your new shooting location! what an image of a picturesque canal scene and your vp cant be better than this. The low warm spring light, the brill architecture and water reflection are obvious pulling power here with lots more to savour the senses. The trees are there to give you the natural framing. I feel the colours and luminosity look natural to suit the weather - not overdone, it's a successful shot thoughtfully done and a joy to behold. Lovely in depth shot, Congrats and tfs
Ps: Looking forward for more...

The effect of shooting into the light really makes this shot as being the most attractive element and the figures are there to make the flow works as a whole. Credit to your efficient well balanced exposure control, contrast and minimal colour rendition which suit the mood extremely well. Superb shot, Congrats and tfs.

An interesting documentary image, what a lovely clever compo Bev, each layer full to the brim with something to see. These turbines as controversial energy source, may not be to everyone's taste, but in the right place they can be very impressive and certainly your view of them is quite beautiful I think they actually add some interesting form to this seascape.
These contraptions en-masse are a blot on the landscape but individually look quite majestic as what I had seen personally in Western China. I'm afraid it's the way we are going, we need to build and develop if we are to keep populating the country at a rate of knots. The clouds, polarised deep blue sky and pathway all combine to make this a striking image and the white stripe of water is a little delight. Tx to your extra image, Great picture and tx for sharing. Congrats

A simple night shot with the boat as a protagonist taken from nice viewpoint fully exposed to the best with great clarity. Contrast and the bits of shimmering water add a heap of punch. Nice take, Congrats

The thoughts of apple pie come to mind and maybe some cider...
Little tasty apple from the garden ushering in the summer with that nice tang of apples. Rich green and reddish colour combination is a real boost of contrast, nicely cropped formed by the placement with great DOF as well. An appetising image decently shot, Congrats, TFS

Lovely how bits of vivid colour make all the different to this unpromising day, a real booster lifting the capture tenfold smartly composed and pleasantly exposed inviting viewer to explore as much detail as possible throughout the depth. A decent shot nicely done, Congrats

It's a great imposing building and great for a photo! what a proud looking castle that is - a fine piece of historical architecture backed by some great locations there. It's thoughtfully captured Noel, superb stonework, great detail and lovely colours all round imho, combination of blue and green balances and soothes the overall color rendition really well. It's flawless capture which if possible I would like to see in monochrome. Wonderful, tfs.
