Wow, so this is in France... It could easily be a scene from South Louisiana which shares so much French culture.

You have a very impressive portfolio here on trekearth. I created a theme long ago to compare boats with masts and whether or not they should be cropped or not.
I believe you aced this one in my opinion. The mast in the foreground is shown in its entirety. I believe this makes for a complete picture and a perfect composition.
Very well done and quite excellent!

Beautiful!
My dad served with the 10th Mountain Division in Italy during WWII. It is interesting to see some of what he might have saw.

I really like the POV and composition on this one. Lots of character! I think I'd be more inclined to categorize it as "daily life" instead of "nature". But, just the same it is an excellent picture.

Great job on this capture. I saw these for the first time on a trip I made out west this past summer. None of my attempts came out near this nice. I wonder what it would cost to have just one of these put up on your property and how much of your daily electrical usage it could handle?

I like the subdued colors on the city scape and the bright colors on the boat.
Is that the Staten Island ferry?
