Your choice of sidelighting has produced nice detail in the shingle. The composition is nicely balanced with the curve of the beach complemented by the curved clouds. I think the subtle colours work very well.

I love the simplicity of the composition and the colours. The crop is perfect. My first instinct was that the plane should be climbing from bottom left to top right. On reflection, however, I don't think that's important. There's some posterisation visible in the sky. I suspect that this is because you had to crop quite tightly to fill the frame so dramatically.

All in all another fine image.

Both of your photos were good but I prefer this one of the two. I think that desaturating has worked well. There is a good balance of light and dark considering the challenging lighting. I particularly like the pools of light on the floor. My only criticism is that the the colour of the roof changes from cold grey at the fron to warmer tones near the back. I suspect this is due to the use of a flash. A slightly tighter crop at the top would remove some of the grey area.

Fabulous detail and range of tones in the sculpture. I like the contrast between the grey subject and the colourful background. I find the background a little distracting because I would prefer less depth of field. I think a wider aperture to throw the background more out of focus would work well here.
