This shot is stunning. What a nice face! And the detail that he is eating a industrially-made cookie is also funny.

My only critic is the unfortunate cropping of the upper portion of his head.

An, I'm very HAPPY to be returning to TrekEarth after a very long period of hard times at my business. One of the things I missed a lot were your amazing pictures, your wonderful portraits and your magnificent notes.

I simply LOVE this shot. It's perfect from any consideration. Great sharpness, great contrast, a very unusual POV, a really great cropping, a wonderful old car with vibrant blue color, and the street... And as the cherry on top, this man, with his plague-killing artifact. I wonder how you manage to get all these elements altogether... You are a magnificent photographer, have I told you that before, right?

This one goes to my favorites (I have 2 of your pictures in my favorites!).

PS: Everyone should watch the video as well. It's incredible how this guy earns his money doing this... with no protection!

Great idea!

I like this kind of night compositions... and having such a bunch of free models, is priceless... :)

The lamppost adds a powerful center of attention, too bad it is so centered. This "breaks" the composition in two halves, which is not that good.

I love the shadows on the floor, especially at the left corner. Great idea, I repeat!

I agree with Matt in the issue of overexposition, but for me, this is a great shot anyway.

Un encuadre agresivo, casi irreverente, pero bien logrado. Me gusta la "expresión inexprevisa" de la marchanta, y el colorido de sus paños en la cabeza.

No estoy seguro de que el encuadre sea el más idóneo, pero realmente transmite un sentido de urgencia, de inmediatez... siento con esta foto que la marchanta anda pronto, que busca su venta a prisa.

Hola Melody!

Me gusta más que nada el encuadre que le diste a la foto, y el haber utilizado un lente de corta profundidad focal le añade un efecto bonito al background. Tomaste un buen ángulo para evitar competencia de los reflejos de luz en el agua. Bien tomada...

Sólo que me parece que podría estar con colores más vivos... :)

Hello my good friend OJ!

First of all, Happy 2007! This is my second critique in this new year... Hope you and your family are doing well.

In respect of this picture, I like many aspects of it as a whole and as independent elements.

1. Silouetthe is great. It transmit the aura of a "holy place" (or maybe a "fearly place") very well. Great definition!

2. Lightning is so unrreal. You always have those skies sooooo clean and blue! Great tones as the last sunrays dissapear.

3. The tree. Well framed, and a good foreground subject!

And as a whole this picture is very good to me.

PS: Yes, I've promised a ton of times to return to TE in a daily basis... sorry! I'm still "under fire" at work...
