Hallo Wolfgang!
I looked through the location - seems to be the nice place, Oberwoelz. Your photo are the best among others that you have posted - about this town. Cozy, I mean.
Great work!
Don't have a lot of time to be on TE now, only look here about couple times a week.

Interesting story - quite a story, actually. Art and war rarely live in perfect harmony, and metal for the statues often can be used to make guns - Like Peter the Great once did with a church bells, when war with Sweden called for more bronze for cannons - hundreds of church bells were melted and guns were made of its metal. People saw him as a Antichrist after that, but I doubt that he cared.
Great statue and great photo of it!

...And December started. But it's really very good photo - for the last-glow lighting conditions it's just perfect!
Jctober are the best season in the year - and immediately after it the worst season of the year starts, what a pity!
Greetings from St-Petersburg - with a grey, dark, dry weather and -1 +3 C!

Interesting photo - quite interesting multidomed roof.
Foggy and nice - I like fog very much, makes things mystic.
Great work!

My grand-grandmother was Turk, and her family name was Erhan, by the way. Learned this just a couple of days ago, ha!
