Precious - this makes me remember a tug-of-war I had with such a fellow over a donut in a park in Stockholm many moons ago. They can be quite insistent!

A common sight in my neighborhood too! Perfect picture. Huge machines, they have all the creature comforts, like air-conditioning, radio and CD player - a far cry from the toil of olden times .......

Well Ulf, there is something else we have in common, yet worlds apart: the view is very similar here in Western Canada (except for medieval buildings). Exceptional sharpness and viewpoint.
Rolled bales are a modern method, but the old ways are at times demonstrated at fairs.

It's May, but just like in my part of the world, it looks like there is still quite a chill in the air, and no leafs on the trees yet. Looks nice and peaceful to take a walk along those shores......
