Its been a long time since I saw something on TE that made me want to log and and comment. This is just great; the subject, the composition and the overall feel are just perfect for my taste.

My only comment is that it appears to be slightly oversharp. Perhaps I've just been looking at toycamera gomi for so long? Sugoi!

Love that T-Max! You've used it to good effect here. The wet pavement adds nicely as you suggest. Tokyo's lanes are indeed a rich subject (and a fave of mine), but are sometimes difficult to capture effectively. You have done a good job here though.

I like the Moriyama feel to this. The stark lights and the glimpse of Tokyo train-life. The composition is strong and the eye is drawn to the platform, and the pending train.

I think perhaps some added contrast to the lower half - matching the top half's contrast - would really strengthen its impact. Nice.
