The w/s is a useful addition for helping us to understand the sense of scale in this huge cave. The colours and the textures are nicely captured, whilst the inclusion of the f/g wall gives a sense of depth to the mysterious, black 'hole'.

It is hard to recognise this fountain from your original shot! but, I have to say, I love this new perspective. The spouting head and sunlit, rippling water make a superb f/g as a preliminary to the two tone town hall.
In the first shot, the fountain has little significance; here it dominates.
A great idea and great execution.

The combination of water and autumn trees allows us to enjoy the colours and the shapes twice!
A fine viewpoint uses the river to good advantage, creating fine, leisurely guide lines.

The red of the ship is such an attraction!
(I remember taking such a shot after we had sailed down the ship canal from Salford Quays to Albert Docks.)
It makes such a strong contrast with the very square, geometric shapes of the surrounding buildings. I like how you have introduced the vessel via the water, which sets the scene and gives lovely red reflections.
People who have never visited Albert Docks are missing a treat!

This is a fine shot of the duck, or duce, or diver!
You have captured the textural and colour details of her plumage superbly!
Is she sleeping or just preening her feathers?

The wild flowers make a vibrant f/g, with their tufted pink heads. I think they are knapweed. It's so good to hear that a place like this is protected.
The flowers pack the f/g and help to create an excellent sense of depth with the cloud-topped hills in the distance.
For me, this is a time when a narrow border would work well, so that the cloudy sky does not merge with the white of the page.

This is a scene for personal choice.
The sea is calm, there is stillness on the beach and an empty bench, waiting for an occupant. Some would love to rush to fill it. I love the feeling of space, the sense of calmness and quiet; I would leave it just as it is ... with just a sense of anticipation!

Your tight crop on this building allows no distractions and really emphasises its shape and window patterns. I love how the light affects the colours of the triangular faces, giving them an unexpected link with the clouds.

Ha! Ha! Craig, Man in red, lady in pink!
Walls in red, walls in pink!
Bag in red, .... okay, shoes in pink!
The photograph couldn't be better colour co-ordinated!
Besides the obvious, I like how the buildings create a strong back stop, ensuring that the characters take centre stage!
