Hi Phil,
I'm sorry but it looks like we have a bug here. It must be because the allowed dimensions of the photos have been changed a couple of days ago...
We will have to wait till next Monday to the Tech Team can work on it...

Bonjour Denis,
Une photo d'été,enfin, pleine de soleil, de ciel bleu et de lumière...
Joli point de vue et cadrage parfait, ça donne envie de retourner en vacances tout de suite!

Hi Michael,
After reading your note - "My Daughter who has Horses says its because I smell of Tobbacco?"- I think, being in your neighbourhood, I would have feel & looked the very same way as the horse! :o
I like tight framing but here I would have liked a bit less tight on his nose.
Anyway very humurous shot! :o)

Hello Sanchali,
Welcome on TrekEarth!
First, your photo could have been a lot better if it had been sharper - Did it happen when you shot or when you re-sized the picture for WEB?
Also you should have framed higher - less of the bottom but more space above the tower top. And you could have corrected a slight tilt to the right before posting.
Which post-processing do you use before posting to WEB?
Friendly greetings,
Viviane

Bonjour Beverley,
It's really weird that this photo has got almost 500 view but just one critique!
I'm crazy about that kind of landscapes in that specific weather condition, sunny spells with a dark threatening background! We had that in Scotland and in Norway too... It made those moments so atmospheric!
As I see this photo I'm almost sure we have driven there, isn't it on the A592 (between Ambleside and Penrith) - Oops, just took the map to be sure and I saw this is indeed that road because you mentioned the Kirkstone Pass - It was a great landscape with the endless beautiful stone fences.
Just love this! Amicalement - Viviane

Bonjour Abmdsudi,
What attracted my eyes were the colours but the backlight through the linen fabric and vibrating against the foggy background is even more beautiful...
Very clever composed and a truly lovely shot indeed!

Hi John,
Here I'm again because, just back from the UK, I'm into all kinds of "British Items" for another tour... Next year maybe? :o)
Also the blue of the Blue Bells attracted my eyes. We had also a walk in such a wood - Roseberry Topping woods, Yorkshire - but it will take another few days before I'm ready to post it.
The only pity of a vertical photo is that I have to scroll from to top to bottom w/o getting the complete view but even though it looks like I can smell the yacinthes. Also a great idea to post the close view as a WS, it's such a lovely "bell" that you must have a closer view on it.
* Here a little present: :o)

Bonjour Olivier,

Hello Rosemary,
Very lovely and moody shot but also very brave! :o)
I can very well imagine that you chose for the B&W version, especially with the clouds hanging in the background. But it's Scotland and we know how atmospheric it can be there...

Bonjour Aleks,
The composition rocks! :o)
The colours are soft and bright at the same time, very dreamy and atmospheric effect, especially from the grass at the foreground, well done...
