I had the same idea when I was at batu cave. I like that you chose to show more of the outlying area adding colour to the shot. Here was my attempt http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/Malaysia/photo138254.htm

I like the almost sepia colour to the photo. Is this the natural light, or adjusted? Add a comment. I think just a slightly wider crop on the right would have worked as you just cut out the top and right corner of the temple.

Blue, green, white and ??Red?? in a nature shot? What a beautiful location. Good capture of the rocks and snow but still including the background trees. Nice use of natural colors

The wide-ish 24mm lens gives a good perspective of the woman and her wares. I like how the colour and focus is on the woman and the reflective, slightly out of focus pots don't take away from her portrait, but are still a key element of the shot.

I like this picture. I think if you had stepped 1 m to the right you would hardly have noticed the overexposed bits. I think if it wasn't for the big white sheet that reflected most of your flash you would be able to ignore the rest. That said, a difficult thing to consider when taking the photo, particulary with film, as you don't get to see your results immediately.
I like it! curious did you try one without a flash? How much ambiant light was there from the lanterns?
I tried a workshop, let me know what you think.

I agree with tournesol, it would have been nice to hide the woman somehow. Otherwise interesting funny shot.

I like this shot. I like how the girl stands out to the bland background. It creates an effect almost like she is the only part in colour on a B/W background

This is a picture that has been taken a million times (myself included). But you have captured a little different scene which is nice. I like the weather opposed to the usual bright sunny day. I would not have noticed the bridge had you not pointed it out but now I do. Too bad you don't have the last point on the right in the frame.
Over all, I like it. Much better than any opera house picture I took.
