The clash and combination of colors here is surreal and gives your shot a real edge. The vibrant orange is so distant from the cold blue on the child, especially the blue reflection in her eyes. Yet despite that, they are close and this woman is giving you a glance worth a thousand words. Though I cannot read what it could be, I would guess that there is a lot of power in the gesture of her hands, as she is partially out of the shot, she has an even more mysterious air. This is a beautiful photo,

This is very nicely framed, the old barrels make a brilliant surround To this fine fountain. Nicely done to retain this fine light blue sky, I know I would have blown that out if I had taken this. The buildings behind make a fine colorful palette of color. Well spotted.

It is really great to see the interior of this great castle, and the view you chose is very nice as I get a slight sense of vertigo when I look over the precipice. This seems like a mighty fortress and a place that has seen much history inside its walls. Very cool post, thank you.

A beautifull composed peaceful and tranquil setting, I look at this and I want to grab the Sunday papers, make a coffee and put the feet up. The off centre placement of the boat is perfect and the castle, though small still makes an important partof the shot, from looking at your graceful posts of your home, I gather that the castle is a major focal point of the town. It is always present, like some protector

At first I that this was a close up of some beautiful stained glasswork, with the strips of land being the leading. What an amazing sight and how cool to get these colors combined in the scene, I dont think I have ever seen these colors like this in the natural world. Amazing shot and I commend your pursuit of photograpy in such hairy circumstances, I feel off in a jumbo, never mind a minivan with wings :)
Bestest Wishes to you and yours! Slainte

From the outside a mushroom and pin cushion, from the inside it looks like the largest hot air balloon in th galaxy is taking off, or has just landed o the roof of this immense stadium. I mean it as a compliment when I say this picture makes me slightly nauseous, the sense of perspective is immediate and very attractive, when I look at this I feel like I have just opened a door unexpectedly into this exact position. Really cool shot and fantastic compliment to th exteriors shot you posted.

Just like Kasia, this is a stunning photograph tinged with deep sadness at the idea that all of this could be gone with a cost of thousands of lives. The sun shining on these stone elephants makes them stand out so beautifully, and the peaks of the buildings roofs are captivating, especially against the vivid blue sky. A really beautiful photo that could now be sadly a historical document, but I guess that shows the importance of photography.
I hope aid comes to the people very quickly and lives can soon rebuilt.

This is a surreal picture :) I look at it and your title makes absolutely perfect sense as these do look like electric trees, even though I don't know what they are! Very cool sense to capture this and make such a great title.

We here of the disaster on the news but I think media has made us somewhat blind to the human element of the tragedies. Your posting this beautiful innocent picture slams the human cost down hard and makes me stop in my tracks. It is a beautiful image, expertly taken but at this moment it is tinged with a deep soul harrowing sadness. The before and after shots are really upsetting.
Beautiful and sad post.
