John, you certainly have that 20D firing on all cylinders lately. This is a terrific land- and seascape with excellent colors, sharpness and of course composition, as usual. Thank you for the informative note, too. Here in Pennsylvania, bald eagles have come back well. We have about 92 mating pairs of bald eagles, so they are being taken off the endangered species list.

Another beautiful shot from your Paso Robles visit. This scene and these colors are magnificent, and your capture is very fine. I do prefer your wonderful Sentinels shot, but this one certainly is a keeper too. Good work and best wishes,

Wow, John, you have rightly excited much admiration with this shot. I agree that you seem to have a good eye for spotting these scenes and composing them in an optimal fashion. The sky is terrific. May I ask if you used a filter, and if so what kind? Congratulations and keep it up, counselor!

It may be from 1997, Emile, but it is exactly how I remember the legendary city of Toledo, from when I was a student visiting there in 1982. A stunning place, and you have captured it in memorable fashion, doctor.
