Great picture! I've traveled to the Peloponnese from Athens on a train back in 1988 or 1989. The train ran over the channel and I never got a chance to get to see the structure from this level.
It's majestic!
Thank you, Krystian.

I used to fly to Europe frequently and most of these flights would take me right over Greenland (Newark-Frankfurt-Copenhagen-London-Warsaw-Helsinki-Munich).
This is by far the clearest shot of Greenland taken from onboard of a jetliner I have ever seen.
Have you zoomed in on the mountain range? If not - this must have been some view!
I tried taking a picture of the island once but instead of the mountain tops, you can only see one of the GE jet engines on a B767: they looked so blurry (the mountains), my camera could not read my intention and kept focusing on the nearest and clearest object which happened to be the aircraft engine.
I like this shot very much, Matt!

We, Americans, can relate to this, Pat... It is unfortunate that only the small secrets need to be protected. The big ones are kept secret by public incredulity, as Mr. McCluhan once noticed.
Corporations are in fact the feudal kings and princes of the 21st century and unless we all wake up one day and take to the streets expressing our rage and showing our strength and power, we may slowly turn into modern day slaves.
What happened to the spirit of the Sixties? Are we all morons caught in the "me" consciousness; too busy looking good metro-sexuals with intelligence level of an ameba?
There is something heavenly behind the silhouette of the rusty tractor and its agonizing helplessness hidden inside the green pastures. It speaks to me: it shouts and it whispers grasping for air just like a dying person...
If I could give you a hundred points at once for this picture, Pat, I would!

Magnificent detail and piercing expression emanating from his aged face can make you reflect upon your own existence.
These sparkless and faded eyes of a wiseman hidden under the bushy eyebrows slid into the wrinkled skin tormented by wind, failures, broken dreams, hard work and the simple drive to survive.
Now, grayhaired and disillusioned, he takes a glimpse of his past reflected of vivid memories surrounding the place where he will never get old.
George, this photograph sends chills down my spine! Perhaps, it's because I see myself in him; because I see all of us being left alone for the most difficult journey into the fall of our lives...
Perhaps, I recognize suffering and happiness woven into one realm of the highest creation...
Perhaps, this is not a photograph at all... No, I'm sure it's not! It's a mirror of life and death; of things that had been and things to come; of struggle, resentment, perseverance, commitment, ups and downs; of beginning and end...
