This killing is the truth and I don't see the reason why some people here seem to refuse to accept it. TE should be open to more than just flowery pictures. imo the note is useful - but provoking? It's simply the opinion of its author and if there's any provocation in talking about how your dear food is produced, how can some people (here) still eat meat?

I've always loved branches in front of the (blue) sky. And these branches look beautiful too. But first of all, I find your picture too unsharp. The effect - the contrast between branches and sky - doesn't fully show. I'd taken a different cut-out, more sky and less branches, or another point to focus on between the branches etc.

Apart from the "perfect" lighting situation which you maybe couldn't wait for ;), I'd simply have used a far smaller shutter to add sharpness to the picture because that's the main problem here - the lack of sharpness.
I'd love to see a better version if you're able to try again :). Simple reworking at the computer won't be satisfying.

I'd have worked out the arrangement a bit more carefully ;). Did you sharpen it in photoshop etc.? That tends to make photos partlyn even unsharper which I recognize at some points and contours. I'd have used a smaller shutter instead.

Pretty idea ;). I'd focussed on the little boat a bit more and used a smaller shutter to add depth of focus. The cropping isn't the problem in my opinion ;). More contrast would also be nice, I think...

I think the orange cone should belong to the picture, isn't it the second of the "Two Lights"? I like the composition of the shot, it's pretty sharp and idyllic. I'd maybe cropped a bit of the right side and taken a bit of the left side instead.
