You have a way with ways. :))
Seems it is trademark of yours using pathways to guide ones eyes into the picture.

These trees look out of the world, from another planet.
Wish I coud see them in person one day.
Very nice colors and color contrast. Orange and Blue have always been my favourits.

Very dramatic szenery. Looks like a painting.
I love those swirly misty looking waterfingers that caress the rocks in the foreground.

Wenn ich mir dein Bild so angucke, kommt bei mir Sommerfreude und Heidi-Feeling auf. :)
Optisch ist das Bild schön gestaffelt und erhält dadurch Tiefe.

P.S.:
Ich bin ja neu hier und suche vergeblich eine Möglichkeit dir mit einer private Nachricht deiner Blau-Frage unter meinem Gletscherbild zu beantworten.
Deshalb die Antwort hier: Das Blau entsteht durch den Druck. Es gibt auch grünliche Töne im Gletscher. Je nach dem wie stark die Schnee- und Eismassen im Gletscher gepresst sind wirken sie grünlich bis bläulich. Blau sind die am stärksten gepressten Eismassen. Irgendwo habe ich gelesen, dass manchmal auch Algen für die Farben in Gletschern verantwortlich sind.

Hallo Harriet

Ohne den Text zu lesen, glaubte ich, diese Kirche steht in Irland. Das ganze Ambiente sieht irisch aus. :)
Gut wäre vielleicht gewesen den Baum links noch komplett mit aufs Bild zu bringen.
Ansonsten: Schönes Foto, das durch deinen Text noch interessanter wird.

I like the harmony of colours the intervining of white, brown, contrasting green.
The scence you photographed puts one back into the 19th centrury. It seems time stood still in rural India.

These two liked to be photographed.
A perfect contribution to Womens Day.
It made me smile too.
I suppose these women are selling the fish in the foreground.
To include with what the two are earning there money puts more imformation to the picture. Well done!

Sowas sieht man nicht oft oder richtet einfach nicht den Blick darauf oder fragt sich, was man da eigentlich sieht.
Mit deinem erklärenden Text ergibt sich für mich ein gutes, dokumentarisches Foto, das du auch noch in bestem Licht erwischt hast.
Ich habe jedenfalls wieder was dazu gelernt. DANKE!

A very atmospheric and elaborated picture.
I like the contrast between brownish tones and the yellow flowers.
Looking at the flying gulls one can measure how small the gulls and how deep the picture is.

I know the Green Church from a visit decades ago. I like how the green painted church with its green and blue glas windows blends in with the green of the grass and the trees.
Did you know the church was constructed to be taken apart very quickly and rebuilt at another site when it is threatend by a lava stream?
