Hello Johannes,
the portuguese seashore is fantastic and the image you captured truly demonstrates it.
I suppose it was taken in the early morning and you used a warming filter. I like the effect of eroded cliffs some facing the sea, the others facing the beach.
This image already made my morning brighter.

L.

Hello Dan,
the original quote is: "Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for." by Joseph Addison.
Regarding the photo I find it very romantic with the sepia tones, but it reveals me rather a melancholic than a happy mood.
Cheers,
L.

Hello Kenneth,
this is a beautiful winding reflection with pure colors and perfect sharpening. I can see sine waves, I can see harmony and peace, I can see perfect balance in composition.
Thank you for sharing,
L.

Hello Alex,
the situation is a bit hilarious considering the bicycle sign. I like the repetition of their legs, motorcycles and uniforms. Even the policeman from the backside adds a sense of symmetry in the image. It all makes me think of discipline and rigorous job.
What I don't like are the details in the background rather distracting and the pile next to the bicycle sign.
I'll add an workshop too.
Cheers,
L.

Hello Andreas,
I like this photo so much as I am a big fan of geometrics.. and shopping. All different shapes, lines, colors, lights makes it kind of chaotic, but its the best graphic representation of what shopping is really about in this time of the year.

Hello Veronica,
it's such a pleasant surprise to see this picture of such a fresh event. I was at the concert too, it was amazing! The Big Square of Sibiu was too small for all the fans. I remember singing this song with the crowd.. The only thing I regret is not hearing "Always somewhere".
I also liked Compact in the opening.
I tried few pictures too, but my height was not helping, either the equipment.
Congratulations for such a good capture. Too bad the drummer is not in the frame.
Sibiu rooooks !

Horatiu, his expression is priceless. You know..not every man is suitable to smoke cigars. I need to emphasize "man", because this guy seems more like underage, which is a bit worrying.
On the other hand, its all about the attitude..look at his face, he definitely enjoy it so much to the extend that he appears arrogant.
Although I don't encourage smoking, I like the subtle flavour spread in the air by those original good, refined cigars.
Technically you made a good choise by converting in b/w. What I find distracting is the background. I would loved to see more of that smoke coming out, but as I presume he was neither inhaling or exhaling, he was just posing for you.
At last, if you really want to melt this subject in the "learn more about the world" spirit of this site, you should add notes about the origin and history of cigars, different types, about dedicated clubs or shops in Bucharest.
Have a sunny day,
Cheers,
L.

Hello JB,
what I like most in your architectural shot of London district is the balanced ratios.
First I can note equal proportions of building covering and sky covering; second, the amount of warm colors and cold colors. Then its the geometrical aspect, with all kind of different shapes and last is how the old and new architectural styles are combined.
What I would have done: crop the right bottom fence.
Regards,
L.
