Did you take this in landscape too? I think showing more of the "fence" would be nice.
The sky is gorgeous though and the textures and shadows are very asthetically pleasing.

I love it when the ice starts to freeze and creates unique patterns. You really captured that part nicely.

There's a bit too much negative space on the top of the image, I think I would have cropped it out a bit more. Also, setting your light balance to that first house may have helped light it a bit better.
I do like the composition though and the idea is great.
