When I first saw the thumbnail for the picture, it seemed like the building was sinking in the water. That was quite effectful.
Unfortunately, when seeing the large version of the image, the illusion of a sinking building was replaced with just a tilting picture. Try to adjust it and see what happens.

Hello!
These kinds of ornaments are always fascinating, and in my opinion they are also one of the things TrekEarth is all about ("Learning about the world through photography"). Not many people take the time to notice such details, unfortunately.
About the picture, I think it would benefit from much tighter cropping. If it's possible, try to remove as much of the background stuff as possible (the portal and the yellow square).
Think like this: The hooks/horses are the centre of attention, it's what you want to show us and it's what we should be looking at.

Nice and interesting composition. It shows us "nothing", yet it shows "enough". Enough, that is, to make us curious and to create an inner vision of how the farmhouse really looks.
The only negative aspect would be the parasol at the bottom of the picture...

Hello! Interesting comparison. Living in Sweden and enjoying these open borders between us and our norwegian brothers and sisters, makes you forget how awful the situation can be in other parts of the world.
(I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your nice comments on my pictures. I appreciate them highly!)
