Maria,
Very good not you have written there and it helps us to understand the photo a bit more.
The scene is wonderful and really oozes winter however my eyes unfortunately are continually drawn to the man at the front. I can see what you were going for compositionally however I really do believe that your picture would have had more of an impact without him there and would have reminded me of an L S Lowry painting

Thanks for sharing,

Hi Cecile,
A very nice image you have created. The composition is excellent as is the sharpness.
I'd very much like to visit here now I have seen this picture.

Hey anton,
I agree completely with Bethel, how no-one has commented on this before now is staggering. Its very well composed and the conversion to B&W is perfect.
NYC in my opinion lends itself the B&W photography brilliantly and your shot is a prime example.
Well done!
Cheers

Jeff,
I really lovely image you have there nd the sky just oozes detail.
Not sure if its just this monitor but the foreground looks ever so slightly over exposed but its only slight and doesnt detract from an excellent image.

I like this shot. The light bursting through the clouds gives a lot of character.
I would suggest an alternate approach to Propofol however. I'd actually see what silhouetting the pier does for your image rather than trying to lighten it.

Hi sindre,
I love the signal boxes in Brisbane, everytime I'm there I get plenty og images of them. I've not yet had the obvious success you have had though.
The selective colouring here is spot on which is nice to see. I have seen a lot of images on TE and elsewhere where selective colouring is done as someone obviously just think its a fancy trick.
Would love to see more along these lines.

Hi Matt,
A lovely shot of a very interesting place. I was there back in 2006 and will be back there this coming august and it evokes a lot of memories for me, which an accomplished photo should do. Your composition is spot on and the 4x4's add that little bit of detail to catch your eye and keep you looking at the photo.
Cheers

Hi chris,
a very good photo you have taken there. The colours are great and it is lovely and sharp which has helped you to retain a lot of detail.
In terms of composition, for me, there is a bit too much foreground but I'm generally a big sky photographer.
I was in Mongolia in August and its certainly a great place to photograph.
Cheers

Really like this picture Lars well done. The framing is excellent and colours realy make it come alive!
I'm going to be on the Trans-Mongolia in August and this has just made me even more eager to get on there :)
