Hallo Harry!
Ik ben weer terug op TE, na een heerlijk veldwerk achter de rug te hebben. Het was zwaar, maar heerlijk om 4 weken lang door de bergen te mogen lopen in NW Spanje. Nu kan ik wat aardige foto's uploaden, niet alleen kiekjes, maar ook wat geologische structuren.

Wat een geweldige foto heb je hier weer gemaakt.
De compositie is buitengewoon goed, doordat je de horizon buiten de compositie laat krijg je een versterkend effect op de afstand die tussen de mensen en de bergtoppen zit. Mooi ingekaderd, niet te veel en niet te weinig. Jammer dat de foto zo klein is. Je mag 800 pixels uploaden hè! Ik ga komende zaterdag naar Scotland, UK, dus dat wordt ook weer smullen!

Hallo Harry!
Je vertelde me in december dat je naar de Weissensee zou gaan om te gaan schaatsen (of zou je alleen gaan kijken? kan me niet voorstellen dat je hier niet de schaatsen aan had)
Je hebt een mooie compositie gemaakt vind ik. Het draait in dit plaatje niet om het schaatsen op zich, maar het schaatsen in deze omgeving. En dat komt heel duidelijk naar voren door de huisjes aan de rechterkant van de foto en de goed besneeuwde berg rechts boven. Hierdoor is het net alsof jij hier al de hele tijd stond en de schaatsers zo even als mazzel door je compositie komen.

Naarmate je verder de compositie in gaat worden de kleuren steeds vager. Maar dit geeft niet, want de kleuren van de schaatsers zijn wel heel duidelijk en kleurrijk. De finishing touch is het lage standpunt, zodat de sneeuwballen groot lijken.

Knap staaltje werk weer!

Hi Jon!
What a great view! This is the real Norway, such great mountains and then a very peaceful and sirene atmosfeer. I like the composition you made, the natural border on both sides (tree's) and then that bench, just off the middle of the composition. So it's a well taken shot. This picture invites you to take a seet on that bench and stare at this scenery for a long time!

Ps. I've traveled on the other side of that mountain. I followed the 13 in Sand, so I went right in stead of going to the other side. In fact, we stood in the harbor of Sand and watchted that ferry and then went back to the 13.

What a lovely autumn colors in this one!
I like the composition with the tree/bush on the right lower corner. Incredible scenery with that mountains to! I thought I have travelled too along this one. But I'm not sure.

Hi Jon!
I ran through your gallery and there we're moments when I thought.. Oh yeah, that place.
You really got fantastic pictures from an fantastic country, which is my favourite, far above every other country in Europe. When I saw this picture, it reminded me of a trip from the Lofoten to the Vesteralen, there was a same spot. You hop from one Island to another with a same bridge and scenery. This is really a lovely capture, the way the sun's lightens up some objects in your composition. I always wanted to go to Norway in the winter months, because of the sceneries covered with snow. Which part of Norway would you recommend to go to in the months december and januari? (My interest is also the Lofoten)

What a view and what a shot!
Great low point of view, so that we can see how the gravel is flying away. What a capture, really a good freeze. I like the details in the back, they make this picture even more interesting.

Hi Gregory!
At this time I would have been sleeping, but I stayed awake.
Just one glimp of the Gallery on TE and I saw this picture.
I saw one of my greatest hobbies in this picture and which is one of the most beautiful sports I think.

What a moment you caught. Wonderful how the ball put still in the composition. The leg, the falling man, the field ofcourse, really well composed and well captured.
I find it a nice shot of baseball. Good work!

Bedankt voor je berichtje! Leuk dat je er ook bij bent op TE! Begint ook onder jongeren bekender te worden. Als ik mensen tegenkom die van fotografie houden, geef ik ze vaak meteen deze site door. Door middel van deze site ga je heel veel leren over fotografie, vooral als mensen waardevolle kritiek geven.

De sfeer in de foto is goed! Want fotografie begint met kijken. Je hebt iets in je hoofd en je wilt dat met je camera vastleggen. En waarschijnlijk zag jij al die lange schaduwen op de grond en de prachtige reflectie op de grond waar de laagstaande zon verantwoordelijk voor is. De foto is enigzins wat overbelicht, maar dat geeft bij deze niet, want het gaat om de silhouetten die je in je compositie hebt gemaakt.

Goede reflecties, volgens mij geeft een glazen plaat die toffe reflectie op de grond aan de rechterkant. Ik ben het eens met xavis dat de compositie wat spannender wordt als je meer lucht ervan haalt, dus de bovenkant cropped zoals in de workshop.

Ga zo door!

What a shot! When you see the trees, you can think the scenery is like 500 meters height. But then you see the clouds, the sun and the other mountains on the horizon, then you know it's at great altitude.

Very lovely! (Like all the others :) )
