Hi Kaj. It is beautiful light and a touching photo, but not up there with your best work. You are simply too far away, removing us from the scene a bit. I guess the looking down vantage point is due to the fire needing to be controlled, but the looking down, coupled with the relative lack of immediacy is not as good as what you so often shoot.

This is a really nice composition and you were either really lucky or really perceptive to get the crow when you did. It is badly oversharpened though; so much so that it becomes hard to look at for long. A lighter hand in PP would make a world of difference to me. Nice shot.

This is excellent Alex, I am not sure why there is such a lack of comments. Good use of lines to point is into the distance and a very nice convesion to b&w as well. I don't really have any nits to pick on this, it is really good.
Edit: Have to say that I don't care for the watermark at all. I am sure you knew that though :)

Hi Maciek. Good to see a post from you. I do like that you are not relying on a formula in choosing your uploads; I am sure you know this won't get hundreds of points and I like that you upload it anyways. Here, I really like the colors and lighting in general and for the most part I like the composition. For me though, there is a little too much ceiling. I am not sure how you could get around this, as less ceiling would mean cropping the fan, which is probably not great. Anyways, as it is, I just wish it was different. Good to see you posting Maciek.

Hi Peter. I like this, but don't love it. It is a nice, simple composition with lots of negative space. Nothing really to complain about, other than to say that I wouldn't mind a little crop from the left. The downside to this shot for me is nothing technical, just that to me it seems a little formulaic maybe. I do like the simplicity, but going simple always runs the risk of unexplored territory maybe. Anyways, just some red wine ramblings on a nice shot.[+]

Quite an eye catching shot. Nice b&w treatment and this type of crop always draws attention. Two things that catch my eye right away though. First, the frame is not at all attractive as far as I am concerned. White would be better IMO. Secondly, there are a number of places in the background where I see what appear to me to be Photoshopping marks. I am guessing you wanted to soften the background, but I don't like that I can see distinct marks where it was done.

Pretty cool shot Alex. Quite the expression on his face. Because of all the squares, I think the centered composition really works. I do think he could be a little sharper and to be honest I wonder why he isn't. Was this taken near Intramurous (maybe even within the walls)? I think I might have shots from here taken a few years ago.[+]

This is excellent Sasa. Lots to like; his expression is perfectly caught, all the shapes and lines throughout and the almost incredible clarity of the water. Also, the light hitting his face is just about perfect. Really nice, both the way it was photographed, as well as how it was processed.

A pretty nice photo and certainly the type I could imagine myself taking. I wish you had cropped tighter on the left though and left more room on the right. The girl is cut in half, but there is wasted space behind the guy. I am not sure if you used some sort of noise reduction, but their skin is way too smooth and look unnatural to me. It might be a focus issue I guess. Seeing photos of market food always makes me hungry.

There are two halves to this shot I think, split diagonally from the bottom left to the top right. I really like the bottom right half; his right eye looks great, the exposure is good and it is an inviting photo. The top left half doesn't do as much for me though. There is just too much black and not enough detail overall. A nice shot, but not your best Sasa.[+]
