The triangular wedge of the sunlit, green ridge at right contrasts well against the almost black and white tones of the foreboding mountains at left. Lake Louise is within Banff National Park, but it's much closer to the town of Lake Louise than Banff. Good sharpness and shadow detail. The dark pine trees add a good graphic element at right. Love this. I have been to nearby Bangkok a few times and MaeHong Son, but Yangon (Rangoon) is still on my to-do list. With the relaxing of the grip on power by the military now is a good time to go. Nice use of the fg overarching building to frame the bg. Tfs.

Smart choice of a vertical frame to accentuate the height with good sharpness and the white sky enhances the graphic element of the darker toned stone castle. I like the patch of greenery at the bottom, and the 2 people add scale. Tfs.

Maybe in an open air zoo in the backyard on acreage but not in the house. Wild animals are unpredictable. The leopard is a beautiful and magnificent animal for sure. I went and saw the snow leopards in India. Tfs.

I know this bus station. It was my first introduction to Lisbon coming from Madrid. Here I like the wide angled fish eye distortion. The people animate the scene and provide scale. The yellow illumination contrasts well with the blue tones. Tfs.

Looks similar to the Melbourne waterfront in Australia. Excellent sharpness and the green and red ship makes an immediate focal point against the largely grey surroundings. Perhaps a slight rotation to the left so the water line is level? Tfs.

A good study in contrasting textures between the rusty corroded hook and the spaghetti-like strands of the fishing net. Effective tight framing with good sharpness. The diagonal axis adds dynamism. Tfs.

Good graphism of the woman at left in full sunlight standing against the dark bg of the door. Excellent sharpness and the window at right resembling the same shape and color of the door balances the composition. Excellent sharpness and the tan colors contrast well against the grey-blue tones. Tfs.

The strong backlight has been well managed with still plenty of colour, which seems to often be a first casualty when shooting into the sun. The graphic elements between the lighter toned blue sky and the dark bare silhouetted branches of the tree are superb. Excellent sharpness and framing. Tfs.
