I love the idea and the composition of this picture. The b&w is well exposed too. the POV could've been better but then I suppose you would've needed a ladder! and wouldn't have been able to get the great expressions of these contemplative people standing on the railing. great work, tfs,

Hi Ian, I love this photo, at first glance it seems like Beirut before the war in the early 70s (or what I imagine it was like), the red frame really spoils it for me though. Lovely note as well, tfs, Betty

Hi Cristian,

nice photo, I also really like the colours contrasting with the tidy handwriting. In answer to your question, the large word on the right is Allah (God) and the text to its left is a prayer (I don't know if its from the Koran or not), the title in medium size lettering says "the travel prayer", so it's actually quite in context with your long train trip :)

Hi Warren,
I really love this image. The composition is very rich and gives depth. Color's are ok however there's clipping of whites in large part of the photo (ground), it may have been avoided by exposing less. Keep up the good work and TFS.

Hi Ian,

Lovely shot! I've done a workshop focusing the composition on the older girl as I felt she was the most powerful element and needed to be brought out. I hope you'll like it. I really like the colours and contrast and didn't touch those in the workshop.

what an amazing moment you've captured with the light streaming over the contrasted relief. the image is sharp and nicely composed (though I think I would've cropped off the fence on the bottom). nice work,

I really like this shot. The subject is interesting and I think you chose the best one among those posted in workshop. The face-on POV is well chosen, colours are rich and really do remind me of chocolate :)
