Very impressive place. It is a very esthetic ruin, which is a pure irony regarding the context.
I like the angle of view, the B&W. The grain too, but I agree with MrSoul, it is a bit strong, and the picture doesn't need vignetting. I would be very curious to see another version of this picture !

Trés belle image d'actualité ! l'événement est fort, la note trés intéressante (avec quelques fautes d'orthographe ;-) )
et l'image pleine d'impact, avec ce drapeau flashy, illuminé, ces costumes et cette lumière de neige éblouissante.
Bravo !

Woman at the window, a beautiful classic thema ! Here I like the light, the strange but beautiful composition, the beauty of the womand, and the rather exotic aspect (for me) of the place.
I'm wondering what it would have been in B&W... but the little red spot ponctuates nicely the composition, and maybe makes the picture.

Une lumière merveilleuse, une belle composition, et la fumée de l'encens pour adoucir le tout, c'est superbe.
Quelle chance tu a eu de pouvoir photographier une telle scéne !
Je suis heureuse de voir ce qu'on peut tirer d'un équipement qui est aussi le mien (Alpha700 + Carl Zeiss 16-80). Bravo !

C'est le soleil qui a tout d'abord capté mon regard, bien sur. Quelle étoile éblouissante !
Ce qui est parfait, c'est l'apparition de quelques détails dans la vallée malgré la lumière écrasante.
La petite silhouette, elle est top ! pas possible... tu l'a ajouté ? hihi

Very well composed ! I have seen a lot of pictures of San Gimignano, and this one is one of the beautifuls.
Just a little regret for the touch of overexposition.
