Its a beautiful place and so much similar to some places close to where I live, which is how it caught my attention. Some shots like these require more of composition skills more than anything and you've done an excellent job on that. Cheers, Blue

Hi Shelly, This could easily be mistaken for somewhere in the Great Dividing Range along the east coast of Australia. Like the Appalachians it is worn down and eroded compared to the Rockies but still very beautiful in its own way, despite the absence of jagged snow capped peaks. I like the yellow green sunlit forested ridge at right contrasting against the blue sky. Good sharpness and tfs!

Hello Shelly Gorgeous symmetrical reflections, with excellent color, saturation and clarity of the fg water. Well composed using the rule of thirds. The transparent fg water showing the lake bottom stones is nice. The triangle of land at right adds dynamism. Tfs!

Hello Shelly, Very nice macro picture. I find it interesting that only one of this bee's eye seems to be open. I shot a similar picture recently where similarly only one of the hornet's eye seems to be open. Best regards, Barnabas
