Amazing shot! May be we can forget about the exposure, dof etc etc, just the very subject makes it a unique shot!!! Thanks for sharing.

Great shot Paul;

I like the contrast, the sharpness, the colors, the composition, but especially the VIEW!
Did you use a polariser Paul? The sky looks as though you used one, however there is some slight overexposure in the snow which resutled in loss of detail...

However, it's still a stunning view buddy.

Roberto, simple and yet giving the clear message. Here is a bench to rest and enjoy the late afternoon, the warmth, the light, the moment, your life ... take a seat and relax!

Hey Paul;

Cropping is much better suited for this shot then the previous I critiqued. It was clearly a very bright day as the contrast is very high.
As much as I like the bright whites vs grey'ish ones- compensating for that resulted in the shadows being VERY dark.
Although I'm not much of a flash user myself, I think a fill in flash would have allowed for some more detail in the kids to the left. I'm not sure if a polariser would have done the job...
In trying to correct this shot, I think you might have been better off just cropping tight on the two boys in white.

All the best Paul,
- Dan

Marc,
another great Marrakech shot with a wonderful daily life image of that person laying in its green carriage and resting until the next work moment. The ladies in balck passing by gives a great contrast to the shops in the background bathed in a orange light.
Very nice atmosphere!

I Peter.
It took me a long time before coming down to write something, completely riveted to the image.
The harshness of the place softened by the fluffy grasses is well thought. A bit of life in a desert like environement.
Stunning place and stunning photo.
Surprised to see a 3-stop ND grad use here, the sky must have been quite bright when compare to the ground.Good use and result.

Have a good evening,
Charles

Hello Angshu. There are so many pigeons against the spotless blue sky! Beautiful capture of this architecture with low pov. The rock in the foreground making good contrast in shape and color. I like the image complemented well with the note. Thanks again for sharing and best regards. Jusni

Its a colour's festival, Kevin! Very nice composition, full of nice details, and interesting. TFS!

Gildas,
a quite different view of the world famous Tuileleries with that top part of the fence to give all the golden details in the bottom of the image. The sky contrast extremely nice to that with the dark grey colors. In between the palace with the nice texture of the walls.

Hmmm... I'm a bit torn on this shot Paul

Sharpness is good as are the colors (maybe a touch over saturated).
Given the vertical of the horse and rider- I think a portrait cropping would be more suited to this shot and save the poor horses ears!

The high ISO screwed this shot up for you mate;
- Overexposed bits (like the horses head).
- Excess noise visible in the sky.
- High ISO meant the camera compensated by using an F/22 or so- making the sensor dust quite visible (dark spots in the sky).
Which coule have been cloned out in Photoshop...

Sorry dude, not one of your better ones in my opinion.
