They are building of a hull of SPAR type oil drilling rig at Technip Offshore Finland. This giant pipe, seen almost ready for shipping on this WS picture will be floating vertically with the platform mounted on top of it. Cables attach it to sea bed. This is a male Resplendent Quetzal taken through the guide’s telescope. Not evident in the photo is his 60cm (2ft) tail feathers. They were worshipped by the pre-Columbians, who used the tail feathers in ceremonies. F4.8 1/125
